Introducing an Ultra-compact Vision Sensor That Can Perform Presence Detection by Capturing Entire Surfaces

[New Product] Introducing an Ultra-compact Vision Sensor That Can Perform Presence Detection by Capturing Entire Surfaces
The IV-G Series can detect multiple points with a single unit by capturing the entire surface of the target. This sensor has a body that is 1/6th the size of conventional models and a flexible layout connector that can be rotated by up to 330° to meet the demands of our customers. The lineup also includes wide field of view models. The IV-G Series makes it even easier to install sensors in a wide variety of locations.
Image Processing: Color Extraction
This is the first in a New Series of Technical Guides that Explain Image Processing Techniques and Methods.
KEYENCE vision systems have been adopted and operated by many users throughout the world. The "Image Processing" series of documents will introduce the functions, operation principles, and usage tricks for optimum use of our vision systems. This document provides a detailed explanation on color extraction, which specifies a color range that is to be emphasized in images that have been captured with a color camera to make a reliable inspection.
A New Guide for Measuring Instruments!
Selection Guide for Workpiece Measurement—Large Workpiece Edition
This is the guide that you have been waiting for! Following up on our beginner's guide, which received enthusiastic reviews, we have compiled this guide. It contains all ways to select measuring instruments depending on the target workpiece. We hope that users looking to select new measuring instruments will download this guide.
Automatic Counting of Foreign Substances and Contaminants with Particle Analysis
By using the particle analysis function of KEYENCE's latest digital microscope, it is possible to automatically count the foreign substances and contaminants within the field of view. Use this digital microscope to automate inspections done by human operators such as counting, area, and perimeter.
NEW Powerful Autofocus Code Reader Sets New Standard for Code Reading
With just the push of a button, the SR-1000 Series of 1D and 2D code readers can easily read most codes - even conventionally difficult DPM codes.
NEW Ultra-compact 1D and 2D Code Reader with Improved Reading Capabilities
With its advanced processing abilities in a compact body, the SR-700 can accurately read codes that are dirty, tilted, or moving at high speeds.
A Optical Comparator That Can Measure Virtual Lines without Needing to Perform Calculations
The IM Series image dimension measurement system can perform measurements of virtual lines—which have conventionally required calculations—in just 3 seconds. We hope that you will read this collection of measurement examples of virtual lines. This is a must-read document for anyone who is using optical comparators and measuring microscopes.
Cut Your Sensor Stock in Half
With increased repeatability and durable (stainless steel) housing, the LR-Z series is the replacement for most detection sensors in major manufacturing facilities.
The LR-Z Series has not only changed the expectation of what a detection sensor can do but also how long it can last. This sensor has found a way to improve durability (SUS316L stainless steel housing) while increasing repeatability in the process. This combination has not gone unnoticed and is why major manufacturing facilities have adopted the LR-Z series as their new standard.
