Method of version confirmation

Confirm the first line in the “version information” dialog by clicking “help” on the menu.
If THERMO PRO V R2.11.00 is displayed, update is not necessary.

Required preparations

    PC for installing THERMO PRO V

Cautions for TR Series main unit

・Make sure to confirm the version number of TR performance software before updating.
After the update is completed, the soft will properly operate in the combination with the TR main unit from the version below.

TR-H/TR-W ：From version R2.00
TR-V ：From version R1.66(R1.56)

If creating backup copies of measurement display, device, alarm instruction, and check list settings before updating, make sure to use THERMO PRO V which is not updated yet.
After updating, connecting with TR main unit which is not updated may be difficult.
In such a case, use USB memory for making backup. The measurement data and setting files saved in PC before updating can be opened in THERMO PRO V after updating.

The measurement data file (extension .krd) saved in THERMO PRO V（from version R2.00）can’t be read out with the version prior to R2.00 and TR-V Series.
For example, after reading out the measurement data saved in TR-V Series with THERMO PRO V（From version R2.00）, the named and saved file can’t be read out with “Load ref waveform” in TR-V Series.
When reading out the measurement data file(extension .krd) saved in TR-V with THERMO PRO V（From version R2.00）, overwrite save can’t be done. Save under a new file name.

The method of update:

  • Download the update files.

      (1)Create a new folder on the hard disk.

        Click the right mouse button on desktop. Choose “folder” in “new document” from pull-down menu, and “a new folder” is created. Name the “new folder” discretionally.

      (2)Click “Download” button on download site, and the dialog indicating “File download” will be displayed.

      (3)Click” Save” button in “File download” and the dialog indicating “Save As…” will be displayed.

      (4)Specify the folder that was created in step (1) in “save location” and click “Save” button. Then TPV21100.EXE will be downloaded.

  • Install the update software.

      (1)Execute the downloaded TPV21100.EXE, and the dialog “THERMO PRO V Install Shield Wizard” will be displayed. Proceed to install as following the instructions.

      (2)Installation is completed when the dialog “Completion of Install Shield Wizard” is displayed.

      (3)Start up THERMO PRO V and Confirm the first line in the “version information” dialog by clicking “help” on the menu. If THERMO PRO V R2.11.00 is displayed, update is successfully completed.
