LENS DEVELOPMENT TO A HIGH STANDARD

The resolution of an image observed with a microscope depends on the properties of the lens. In order to do justice to the importance of our role, KEYENCE has developed lenses which satisfy high standards. The RZ LENS is the result of this commitment and stands out due to its high resolving power.

DIFFERENCIAL INTERFERENCE CONTRAST (DIC)

In this method, a DIC prism mounted in the objective lens divides the light into two beams. Both beams are reflected by peaks and valleys on the sample at different lengths, which bring out the differences as contrast when the images are overlaid. This method makes minute peaks, valleys and transparent samples that cannot be seen with a normal lens visible as contrast differences.
