WHAT IS THE KEYENCE MEASURING MACHINE?

The IM Series Coordinate Measuring Machine is a visual inspection system that performs measurements in place of optical comparator, calipers/micrometer, measuring microscope, optical CMM, laser measurement and other measuring systems.

99 measurements can be performed on 99 objects at the same time in 5 seconds with a repeatability of ±0.1 micron, and all measurement results are being automatically recorded. Therefore, it drastically reduces user time, and helps the users analyzing data through an easy and automatic data management system. Its operation does not require special skills and expensive trainings, and setting up the device literally happens in minutes by only a few clicks. The Digital Profile Projector is a very cost and time efficient solution compared with classic profile projectors, measuring microscopes or CMMs – it is definitely the next level in quality assurance.
