MEASUREMENT APPLICATIONS

The IM Series Instant Measurement System is a visual inspection system that performs measurements in place of optical comparator, caliper/micrometer, measuring microscope, optical CMM, laser measurement, contracer, gauges and other measuring systems. 

The IM series brings the metrology lab closer to the production line. The IM is ideal for incoming/final inspection or can be placed on the shop floor directly by the production line.

Common measurement applications are: springs (torsion springs, wire rings, extension or compression springs), stamped parts, plastics, rings, gears, bottles, blind holes, threads, wires, molds, turned parts, extrusion profiles, PCB desks and more. 

Thanks to the advanced lens system inside of the IM we can measure even transparent materials. The subpixel processing together with high magnification helps to measure even the tiniest watch parts. 

Measurements take a long time. With the digital profile projector users will discover an innovative instrument that can reduce a 10 minutes job to JUST 3 seconds. IM is a measuring robot which will reduce human error out of repetitive measuring tasks. 

Since the whole measurement routine is automated together with focus and lighting, no matter who operates the machine, it will give back always consistent results. The IM measures parts regardless of their position on the measuring stage and thanks to its super large field of view it's possible to see the part as a whole.

Up to 99 measurements can be performed on one part in just 3 seconds or measure 99 objects at the same time with the accuracy of ±1 micron, while all measurement results are being automatically recorded. 

This drastically reduces user time compared to conventional measuring devices (such as measuring microscope or profile comparators, contracers or 3D coordinate), and helps the users in analyzing and creating professional measuring reports in few clicks. Its operation does not require special skills and expensive trainings.
