  • Particle counting

    Colloid counting example

Area counts can easily be carried out within the specified range on the target, you can automatically count up to 29,999 particles, even particles as small as 1um.

  • Area and dimensional measurement

“Measure,” “Histogram,” and “List of extracted areas” can be displayed

Area measurements and counts can easily be carried out within the specified range on the target. Parameters such as the area, maximum diameter, and minimum diameter are automatically calculated. Targets that are not required can be excluded, and overlapping particles can be separated and counted individually.

Furthermore, measured values can be output to tables and histograms, which makes it possible to quantitatively determine the particle size distribution characteristics.

  • Technical cleanliness inspection

    Contamination analysis

Digital microscope enables users to carry out cleanliness inspections compliant with the ISO 16232 and VDA 19 standards for the automotive industry.

  • Particle 2D/3D measurements

Particles of all shapes can be visualised

3D images can be captured and compared side-by-side with the VHX’s 3D comparison function. A height colour map and a scale can be added, so that the surface topography of each sample can be visualised.

  • For any industry | Example: Cosmetics

    Quantitative evaluation of an emulsion

When working with emulsions, it is important to evaluate both the size and distribution of the particles as this has a large effect on the texture of the emulsion. It can be automatically identify with the auto area calculation function.
