Unified Coarse (UNC) or Unified Fine (UNF) Thread Measurement

  • Major & minor diameter

    Detects peaks and bottoms of each thread and measures approximation distance of lines connecting them.

  • Pitch

    Measures edge distance along an effective pitch diameter.

  • Pitch Diameter

    Detects a line with the same width of thread and groove to measure distance.

  • Thread Angle

    Measures thread angle.

  • Partial cumulative pitch deviation

    Measures misalignment level from ideal pitch distance. Proper measurement requires design values.
