Thickness measurement on a roller

Light reflectance off non-woven fabrics or low-density materials pose a challenge when measuring thickness. An effective way to overcome this challenge is to measure off a roller. The LS-9000 Series calculates the thickness by simultaneously measuring the heights of the roller and the target, eliminating measurement errors caused by roller eccentricity and thermal expansion.
